Who we are

Lewes CAAG is a voluntary group which was founded in 2009 to help conserve and enhance the town's two conservation areas. We are independent of, but endorsed by, Lewes District Council and the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA). We collaborate with both bodies and also with other heritage groups. Our members include architects, surveyors, town planners and representatives of heritage groups (such as the Georgian Group, the Victorian Society and the Twentieth Century Society)  and Town Councillors. District Council officers and other interested parties also attend our group meetings by invitation.
